Imagine - You tell your partner you have a special weekend planned, but don’t give them details. A limo is waiting, and the first thing you notice are the astonishing amenities. Champaign, or wine of your choice. Fresh fruit. Extraordinary snacks for the drive. As you toast the upcoming days, your partner begins to realize that this is not going to be your average weekend.
The drive takes you further and further from the city, and surroundings become more and more remote. The sun is setting, and the beautiful, rural scenery is stunning. Suddenly, seemingly in the middle of nowhere, the chauffer pulls off the road and into a field. It is a very non-descript location at the edge of a forest. You get out, and the driver leaves.
The host appears, and asks you to follow. Tiki lights border the trail as you walk deeper and deeper into the woods, walking about ½ mile from the dropoff. Then, in a break from the forest, the beautiful Nook appears. As the door opens, a cozy fire comes into view. Two glasses of chilled wine are inside, and you again toast the weekend. Luggage is already inside, and your partner begins to look around. First, they notice a photo of you two in one of your memorable moments hanging above the fireplace. Then another on the desk. And yet another by the door. One amazing photo after another, placed subtly around the room.
Lights are on outside the Nook, and beautiful gardens border the fountain….all framed by a large window behind a sturdy, high-top oak desk. You each take a seat to enjoy the view, and all the while, your partner has been wondering where they were, and how in the world did you possibly find this place?
